Full page width - sidebar menu

Hi,

I’ve built this site with the plugin. Its worked fantastic!
But how can I move the menu to move to the left more and higher up the page?

I am using the menu module for the sidebar menu and using Genesis Dambuster to get the full width page.

Also on mobile - my slideshow is not working.
I have ticked for it to be responsive on all devices. Ipad is not problem, just mobile.

Thanks.

Hey Lisa,

Just took a look at your Website and I think I have a workaround for you. To push the menu a little to the left, you could try adjusting the Row “Max Width” inside the Global Settings. Just navigate to Tools > Edit Global Settings. To make the menu go up a little, you could try adjusting the paddings in the Row Settings. I’ve tested your Website on my mobile device and it seems the slideshow background is working fine on my end. Could you check on it again and let us know how it goes?

Thanks!

KC

Hi KC,

Thanks for the suggestions, unfortunately they didn’t work. My padding is set to zero for everything.
Is there anything else I could try?

I can move the logo up, but then it doesn’t have the slideshow background, so that wont work. Then with the sidebar is really needs to be like a menu and be on the left more.
It looks perfectly fine on mobile.

It is working on mobile now - thanks. Silly me I think I was looking at the wrong page.

Hey Lisa,

I really want to avoid using Custom CSS on this, so do you think you can share temp admin access to your site so we can take a better look? You can post the details here using the private reply option below.

Thanks!

Perfect KC! Exactly what I was after.
How did you manage to do that?

Hey Lisa,

I think you’ve missed the Row Settings at the bottom there. You’ll have to set the Row Settings “Content Width” to “Full Width”. Then click on the “Advanced” tab in the Row Settings and adjust the paddings. That’s it! I’ve attached some screenshots for your reference. Let us know how it goes.
