Gallery Link to Page or Post (and not to image file)

Hello, I want to show a gallery on a page with thumbnails linking to specific pages / urls.
I have put the respective links for each image in the media library.
In the beaver builder gallery settings I have chosen “image link” (Fotolink).
But the link opened after clicking on a thumbnail is the image file itself, instead of the linked page or post or URL.
Is there an easy (built-in) way to link gallery images to a content page? And not to the image file?

Hey Helen,

That is the intended behavior. Our Gallery module can’t do what you’re trying to achieve here. We already have a feature request for that though so feel free to vote for it on the link below.

In the meantime, you could try a more robust gallery plugin.

Just curious though, where did you place the link for each image in the media library?

Hey Ben, thanks for your quick answer. I have now solved the intended masonry view with links to the respective pages with the BB picture module. That should work for this customer.

Concerning your question of the image link: I have noticed that this feature comes only with a plugin I have installed (enable media replace), and not with the WordPress standard functions. So, I apologize for asking!
Btw: We love Beaver Builder and its huge improvements in the last months, i.e. the global modules / rows which make our lifes as web and content masters so much easier!
