Global css overrides

Hey. New user, first time poster. Pls. b gentle!

So every time I use a Button ‘Advanced Module’ I’m coding in the colors each time - per module. Is this right or is there a Global CSS override somehwere or somehow?

for example:

.fl-builder a.button:hover {
	background: #8e44ad;
	text-decoration: none !important;
}

I mean I don’t want it as complicarted or elusive as Ultimatum but… can I just custom code it with no - worries?

Hey Anakyst!

Welcome to the forums! :slight_smile: Ok, so there are two ways to apply color to buttons. The first and easiest is to do so in the button module settings. I am assuming you’ve already seen that and want this on a more global scale so you don’t have to configure for each button. Using CSS is totally cool and one nice feature of the builder modules is you can add custom CSS and then apply it to individual modules using the custom CSS ID selector in the module settings, typically found in the advanced tab. However, what you are doing will work just fine as well!

So if I already have a .button and .button:hover styled then I can just put ‘.button’ into that custom CSS ID selector field?
