I know this has be discussed before but why is the list of Google Fonts in (BB Theme) Customer different from the list of Google fonts in the various BB modules dropdown fields?

First question is there a way to add Google fonts that are missing in Customizer.

For example I want to set the H1 Tag to Palanquin Dark.
This font shows up in the various BB plugin modules dropdown list, but is not found in Customizer. I know can manually select the font in all the various modules. But this becomes a tedious process that is prone to error by incorrectly a font when modifying multiple modules.

If it is not possible to select all the Google fonts through the click and point of the customizer. Is it possible to add code to customizer or child theme that will make these fonts available to choose?

If none of the above I assume these font (families) can be manually added either in child theme’s CSS or Customizer head code area?

Hey Jason,

Sorry about that. We haven’t released an update for our theme in a while and that’s the reason it’s quite outdated. We’re planning on releasing a major update for our theme soon and that will come with the latest Google Fonts.

Unfortunately, adding a font to the customizer section isn’t possible at this time. You could try adding the font manually through a function, then apply the style through custom CSS. You can check Robe’s reply below if you’re interested. :slight_smile:
