Gravity Forms: Problem with Spacing/Responsiveness

Hi - Please look here: http://wisetransitions55plus.com/moving-on-seminar/

I tried putting the short code in a Text Editor module manually - I don’t see the “add form” button when in BB.

I put it on the page twice - once in the left column and once in a full-width column. The spacing is messed up in both instances.

QUESTIONS:

  1. How can I fix the spacing
  2. What is the line of code at the bottom of each form and how to remove?

Thanks.

Hi again. Here’s what I received from the Gravity forms tech:

Something is wrapping pre tags around the form code

Not sure what this means or how to fix?

So now it’s spacing properly. What’s up with that?

Hey Kathleen,

Third party enhancements aren’t allowed within the Text Editor module. Most of these addons are only coded to work on the backend. When adding a GF shortcode, you can try visiting the native WP editor, where the GF button works fine. Use that, copy the shortcode it generates, then paste it to the Text Editor module on the builder.

I just checked the site and the first form looks fine. Is there something different with how you added the second form? We can take a look if you like. Just send over temp admin access to the site in question.

Hi Ben,

Looks like you can use the shortcode format directly like: [gravityform id=“2” title=“false” description=“false”]

but, you need to add it into the Text Editor in the Text mode so the editor doesn’t try to add anything to it.

Just love these computers!

Ah, so you added it while in Visual mode? That makes sense. We do recommend using the HTML module when using shortcodes.

Anyhow, glad you figured it out. Enjoy BB!

Ben
