having issues with google maps API (both beaver builder sites)

Via the Chrome Console Error Platform:

util.js:30 Google Maps API warning: SensorNotRequired: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages

Code Bit in index:

<script type=‘text/javascript’ src=’//maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false’></script>

both sites we have developed using beaver builder is showing this error, this is usually not problematic, however when we are advertising on FB it shows this error on a white screen:

The Google Maps Embed API must be used in an iframe

we are unable to trace the source of the error and where its coming from, however, it is happening on 2 sites specifically developed on the Beaver Builder platform. The other sites developed (using the same plugins) on another theme framework do not have these issues. Please let me know if this is an inherent issue with beaver builder and if so what is the resolution to this problem.

Hey Nicholas,

What Google Map plugin are you using? Do you mind sharing the URL of the site in question so we may take a look?

Hey Ben,

Just an FYI, sent you a private reply that way I don’t share confidential information

Hey Nicholas,

The first site is simply showing a warning SensorNotRequired. Checked the warning here - Error Messages  |  Maps JavaScript API  |  Google for Developers and it says

The sensor parameter is no longer required for the Google Maps JavaScript API. It won't prevent the Google Maps JavaScript API from working correctly, but we recommend that you remove the sensor parameter from the script element.

The second site indicates the API has been included multiple times. I checked the markup and it seems it is indeed. I’ll post on a separate private reply a screenshot for reference.

Hope this helps!

Ben

Hey Nicholas,

I have on my local dev a Map module placed but I can’t see that API being referenced anywhere on my markup, and I am using the BB theme. Do you mind sharing temp admin access to the site so we can check?

Hey Nicholas,

Would it be possible if we could deactivate plugins and/or change themes to check? Also, the details for the second site doesn’t work.

Ben
