Header Phone Number - "content text" not appearing

I’m trying to edit the phone number in my header.

That post says Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Header > Header Layout > Content Text

But my looks like this wiht no “content text” section to edit…

The Content Text section is only available when you use the Nav Bottom layout. :slight_smile:

Ok, thanks. But how do I change my phone number? I hired someone to build me a custom theme and they added the number so I’m not entirely sure how in BB it was added.

It looked fine when they handed it off but the text was a little small on the menu headings so I bumped it up a size and it threw off the phone number alignment as shown.

I’ve reached out to the theme builder and they’re going to make the change for me but I like being able to figure this stuff out myself too and it’s bothering me that I can’t find this one.

Hi Thomas,

Without access to the site, I am only able to take a guess and I believe they may have added the contact number via a menu item.

Therefore, you will want to check in WordPress Admin Dashboard > Appearance > Menus. There, you may see your contact number which should allow you to edit it.

If you do not see the contact number, they may have coded it via either an action o hard coded it. Then you’re best to wait and see what they say when they reply.
