Hi Google speed test shows .......

Properly formatting and compressing images can save many bytes of data.
Optimize the following images to reduce their size by 564KiB (90% reduction).

Hey Quentin,

In looking at the above, we’re talking really minimal space reduction here, however, can you tell me which pages these images are located in by chance? The template images aren’t stored in your site, they are actually hosted by us actually just for reference.

Best,
Billy

Hey Billy OK , its just that google is giving us Hugh penalty for these? 55 score should be up around 80 with the way i have things optimized. Where are they well google saying all the img are in wp_content BB cashe …Not sure where they are on the site thats all they give …

Not sure who to be-leave on page speed they all seem to be iffy from my test ?? . Q

Just chipping in here with a quick comment.
I think the quality of your hosting is a more relevant factor than this image issue…
Dave

Thanks Dave, agreed.

Quentin, images used by BB that you upload will show in the uploads area as you are seeing. There aren’t any images being inserted by BB though, only images that you upload so the optimization would need to be done on your images. I would like to see which images they are though, any chance you can send the full URLs from that test so I can view them? Also, in the dashboard > settings > page builder > cache - can I have you try clearing the BB cache as well and then re-running the test?

Best,
Billy
