How to Add Custom Style Google Map (Snazzy map style)

Hi,

I am not so good with all these codes, how can I change the map style to a different one? I tried Snazzy maps WP plugin, this didn’t work. I am not so sure, where to copy this javascript code. Maybe you can help. Thanks!

Thanks for getting in touch! Does the plugin give you a javascript code? You should be able to just paste that directly to an HTML module. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes! :slight_smile:

If I get it right, I insert an HTML module, then need a map code from google maps and after that I need to put this Snazzy maps code somewhere in or before google maps code?

First I took a code from google maps, copied it to HTML module, pressed save - it keeps loading and loanding that never ends.

Hey Pärt,

I tried playing around with the plugin but it seems it’s not compatible with our Maps module. I also tried manually embedding a map to the page but it still doesn’t work. Based on the FAQ’s section, the guys tried this on a few Google Map plugins so I’d suggest searching for one and try it. You might also want to contact them and see if they’d recommend any. Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you there.

Hey Pärt,

I usually prefer just the simple Google map embed taken from Google Maps itself which is the same map being used by the Maps module. If you really want to use that Snazzy map style, I’d suggest contacting the devs and ask what plugin it works best with.
