http error with multi site and domain mapping

I am getting an http error when I try to up load media from beaver builder’s page builder.

there is 2 steps to fix this issue

1)You need to add Header add Access-Control-Allow-Origin “*” to htaccess file
2)if you are using domain mapping. go to in the setting on network admin-> settings -> domain mapping turn on “Permanent redirect” and “User domain mapping page” all others I have off.

this fixed my issues with the http error.

Hey Mike,

Glad you figured it out! And thanks for sharing the solution. Have fun with The Beaver!

Just an FYI, from my own experience:

Be sure to make the .htaccess change, and not just change the domain mapping settings. Just changing those does fix the ‘http error’. However, without the .htaccess change as well, you’ll start running into issues with the admin pages on any domain except the primary one.

Hey Justin,

Thanks for the heads up! We really appreciate it.

I may have spoke too soon. I logged on tonight to find that my admin page issues had returned. Re-checking “Remote Login” and “Redirect administration pages…” in the domain mapping settings fixes my issue. But then the http errors in the media upload return. My workaround at this point is to go to Media from the main menu, rather than through BB. You guys may still have a bug here, at least for multisite users.

Hey Justin,

I’m thinking what you’re experiencing is a different problem altogether. Do you think you can start your own thread and we’ll take it from there?
