Hyperlink to content in a tab or accordion

I would like to know if it is possible to insert an anchor into a tab or an accordion and create hyperlinks elsewhere that would automatically open the tab or accordion and take the reader to that spot. Many thanks.

Hey Rick,

Sure, I don’t see why not as each use the editor. Feel free to give it a shot if you like and let us know if you have any trouble. On another note, we do have some cool functionality available similar to this, but on the module level (not individual tabs or accordion options) you can play with as well. Here is a link to that documentation. Hope that helps!

Thanks, Billy – Here is what I did:

Inside of tabbed content, I created an anchor to my bio (on the second tab). I used standard HTML syntax of . Then I created a simple hyperlink to it on a different page:

See Rick’s Bio

When testing this, the hyperlink takes me to the correct page, but it doesn’t drill down into the tab. I so want this to work – I don’t want to have to go fishing for another tab plugin. Please tell me I’m doing something stupid and this is really easy. If you need admin rights and want to snoop around, just ask.

Hey Rick,

Checked in with the guys and the ability to link to a specific tab within the tabs module isn’t actually possible at the moment. That is a great feature request if you would like to add it our User Voice Forum though. Apologies for the initial confusion there and that there isn’t a workaround at the moment.

Best,
Billy

Darn… :frowning:

Hi Rick, I was searching the Knowledge Base and found this: http://forum.wpbeaverbuilder.com/knowledge-base/linking-to-tabs-and-accordions/
That would solve it, wouldn’t it?

Cheers, Tom
