IE 11 display issue - some rows not centering content.

On this multisite demo I am creating a number of templates. I’m fairly sure I checked them on IE11 before and saw no problem before the last update. Now some rows on the templates are left aligning

See templates 1,2 & 4 on the top row.

I turned off all my custom CSS, deactivated all plugins and cleared the BB cache. Not sure where go next with this.

I’m experiencing the same problem after the last update on all Beaver Builder sites
All rows which are full width, but with fixed content are aligning to the left in IE11.

Hey guys,

Just letting you know we’re checking in on this. Thanks for the heads up!

Hi there Guys,

I am having the same problem in IE11 the header and footer are fine but the main body content area has moved over to the left of the screen please see the screenshots. Everything is fine in Edge, Chrome and Firefox but IE11 big problem.

Problem with IE11

Hi there Guys,

How easy is it to roll back the theme and child theme until the problem is fixed?

Cheers
John

Just purchased BB yesterday, and I am having the same problem with IE11, which the client I bought the software for uses extensively inhouse :frowning:

Hey Guys,

My apologies for the hassle. It looks like an IE11 fix for another issue caused this one. To patch this until we can get a fix out (hoping for Sunday), remove lines 190-192 of bb-plugin/css/fl-builder-layout.css. You may have to clear the builder cache to see the change take affect.

Thanks,
Justin

Hi Justin

Thank you Justin, That has worked for me - I don’t like Microsoft Internet Explorer - interestingly, it is not do it in the new Microsoft edge! They must have a new engine?

Kind regards
John

Great! Yes, I believe Edge was completely written from the ground up. I can’t wait for the day when IE is a thing of the past!

Justin

Perfect. Many thanks Justin. I don’t know how you keep on top of it.

I bet Microsoft feel the same. I got a couple of free t-shirts from them for joining them in their efforts to kill IE6.

The patch worked for me as well, thanks.

Hey guys,

Deleting the IE zero margin in the fl-builder css didn’t work for me. IE11 being a pain again for me!!

EDIT - after clearing the BB cache it has resolved -

Many thanks

Kat

Great! We’ll get an official maintenance update out with the fix soon.

Justin

Could someone please direct me where I would find this "remove lines 190-192 of bb-plugin/css/fl-builder-layout.css.

I’m very new to this and am not sure where i would go to change, but I am having the same issue.

Thanks

Hey Rick,

That has to be done via FTP, are you comfortable with that? If not, we’ll be pushing out a fix tomorrow.

Let me know.

Justin

Not familiar with FTP so I will just wait for the fix…thanks!!

Hey everyone,

I’m having a hard time recreating this issue on my end to fix it. Would it be possible for someone to send me a link where it’s happening? Also, let me know what OS you’re on (either Win 8 or 10).

Thanks!
Justin

Hi there Justin,

Question for you, which part do you think the problem is in, as I don’t think it is in the Plugin, I think the problem is in the theme. Why do I think this… We did an update to the site using the plugin and everything was just fine, then we updated the theme and that is when our client saw the problem and told us about it.

Our Client is using Windows 8 and IE11 (Yuk!)

We are using Windows 10 and IE11, Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Safari and Opera. IE11 had the problem as you can see from the screenshots.

I hope this helps.

Cheers
John
