Image gallery question

Hello guys,
I am currently working on a new website with the BB theme and plugin. Everything is looking good except the gallery.
I want to creat a gallery for 8 employes. 2 rows with 4 images each. And i would love to implement the same looks and mouse over effects (incl text) that you have in the blog gallery: http://demos.wpbeaverbuilder.com/blog-gallery/
Is this possible to accomplish with a image gallery?

I just want to add, that i tried to get a “grid look” and “mouse over effect” with both the image gallery module and by adding single images into two rows with four columns.

I would very much appricate some help in this matter!

P.S.
I know that it exist several premium plugins for grid gallerys that to the job. However all of them slow down the page load quite a bit.

Hi Thomas,

The Blog gallery page you’re trying to recreate is using the Post module with the Gallery Layout style option set.

Therefore, if you wish to have your gallery exactly like this. What I would suggest is for you to create a new custom post type, call it Images or Gallery. Then create a new post for each of your images and then use the Post module like in our demo.

Then under the Content tab options, for Post Type, select your custom post type. This should give you the look you want.
