not sure how to explain this but I have been confused about why the mobile version of my website (the header), doesn’t contain (where possible) columns on the same line and instead will stack the columns in the row on top of each other.
Its really annoying as this generally increases the my header greatly in height. And where I have a logo and menu in the same row, will instead stack the logo on top of the menu and not side by side.
I don’t see an option to have the columns on the same line in BB for mobile, whats the best way to solve this issue?
That’s actually the responsive behavior of the theme. Mobile devices have limited width, so we have to stack columns on top of one another to make up for it.
The menu should be converted to a simple Button menu or Hamburger menu, depending on what you set, and should not eat up a lot of vertical space. Do you mind sharing the URL of the site in question so we can check?
its OK, I do have a fix for this that I use from a friend, so its not an important issue that I need resolving, but I was just wondering why the hamburger menu cannot be side by side with the site logo in the mobile version.
Sorry for the delay. Our hamburger icon actually goes side by side with the logo on mobile device. Take a look at the screenshot below for reference.
Is this not the case for you?
