I’m trying to create a tiled image gallery using the Jetpack Image Gallery with the BB theme and plugin installed. I can’t load any images into the gallery. The link to: ‘choose images’ is not functioning. I’m using Safari 6.1.6 on a MacBook Pro OS 10.7.5. I’ve also tried using Firefox and the gallery link still doesn’t work.
Here is the link to my site page. The Title ‘NEWS’ is there, but I can’t load any images underneath: http://www.itechfit.com/news/
Here is a design preview of the final NEWS page. I’m trying to create a mosaic style image layout that has URL popups for each article link. (scroll down to the NEWS page) http://www.4effect.com/CLIENTS/ITF-WEB/index.html
Was reassured in presale questions that BB is compatible with Jetpack. Please help.
**Also, how do I set as private… I would like to provide temp access to my WP login for further testing?
thanks for looking into this, I will use the BB gallery for the time being. Please keep me posted on a bug fix or work around. I will try installing the plugin that Jetpack recommends.
My other question is: If I click on an image (within an image gallery, or an individual image) is it possible to link to a URL web page, but have it appear inside a lightbox window over the existing gallery page? Right now, the only thing a photo links to is a larger image of the photo, or an attachment page. I’d like to link viewers to a URL (like a news article online) but not have them leave my site. I want the URL news article to appear inside the lightbox (just like the photo appears). I’ll try and send you a reference of this… I’m pretty sure I saw it somewhere and it was connected to the BB or Jetpack functionality.
Ben’s gone for the day so thought I would chime in here for ya. Unfortunately, no, on doing what you are after with the gallery module. I suppose it might be possible to use the caption field in the media library and turn on captions in the gallery module if that helps?
I did some research and it doesn’t look like Jetpack widgets are compatible with Beaver Builder. The reason is because Jetpack only loads the widget settings JavaScript in the admin on widgets.php and customize.php. I have confirmed that this issue affects a few other popular builders. Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you!
