Layout With Sidebar And Rows With Different # Of Columns

How can I create a layout that has a right sidebar and then in the main content area a 1 column row, 2 column row, and then another 1 column row?

Here’s a screenshot of what I"m trying to do: http://screencast.com/t/83lwLXrJtF

I could just use the WordPress built-in sidebar I guess, instead of adding it in Beaver Builder.

Hi Lloyd,

I apologise, but I am not entirely sure what you’re referring to. Do you mean you want to have a layout that has a main content area and a right sidebar. Then in the main content area you want to have one column spanning the entire content area, beneath that two columns and finally beneath the two columns another one column row?

Also, are you trying to achieve this on a page or post?

Thanks,
Danny

Yes, the way that you described it was exactly as I need.

Main content area and sidebar.

Within main content area we have a 1 column row, 2 column row, and 1 column row.

This would be on a page.

Hi Lloyd,

The way I did and I hope this is what you’re after, was to do the following:

  1. Log into your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
  2. Create or edit page via WordPress Admin Dashboard > Pages.
  3. Be sure to set the template via Page Attributes to the Sidebar template.
  4. Then I clicked the Page Builder tab.
  5. When the page builder loaded, I added a Row 1 Column to the main content area.
  6. A Row 2 Column beneath that.
  7. Finally a Row 1 Column below the 2 column.

The layout looked like this - https://cloudup.com/cwelr4UIiVc
