Limit what a user can edit/change

Hello,

I’m trying to figure out how to limit what a user (my client) can edit. I found information about “editing settings” which limits which users can edit, but is there a way to limit what Beaver Builder elements users are allowed to edit?

For example, I don’t want my client changing columns and adding modules, I only want to give them the ability to edit text that is already there. Is this possible?

Hey Keith,

Advanced editing capabilities are unfortunately not something built into BB at this time. You can really only change the editing capability as mentioned in this article.

Rats, is there anything that I can do to change the editing capabilities for my clients (even if it involves some ‘hacking’ with the functions.php file)? Can I force users to edit the site through the dashboard without using the page builder?
