When I make adjustments to the the margins in text boxes (from the default 20px) - although I can see the changes I make, when I save page, it reverts back to a large space between each module (I’m guessing it’s the 20px).
Blocks created before the update maintain the correct margin size (as long as they are not adjusted)
That sounds like a caching issue. I did a little testing and can’t seem to recreate it on my end. Can you please try clearing your cache and caching plugin if you have one installed?
There does seem to be a difference. When you re-click Page Builder to edit page, it doesn’t actually show WYSIWYG - the gap is 20px even if it’s set to 0px margin. It seems that when you save now it shows correctly. So each view is not consistent.
I’m not seeing any errors and am also not experiencing any issues on my end in your site, weird! I’m not sure where we go from here, are there specific steps on that page I could take to try to recreate this? Include the specific text boxes if possible.
I think this issue could be with Firefox. It seems that Firefox shows different space between edit and when it’s published. Then when you’re logged into site it doesnt always show it correctly. In a private browser with cleared cache etc… it does.
In Chrome it seems to show correctly in Page Builder and when published. However, If you do something like make the margin -50px or something - it overlaps (as it should) on the module above in Page Builder but when published it jump back down. If you view the pagfe in an incognito window it show correctly (without clearing cache) (but not if you’re logged into site)
Just getting back into this. It appears to work for me as it should in Chrome which is mainly what I use. I was able to see what I think you are talking about in Firefox though - interesting. The site isn’t throwing errors while recreating the issue and simple refresh takes care of the formatting which leads me to believe this is still caching related. Regardless, we’ll take a deeper look to see if there is anything we can do.
At the moment the only solution is to clear browser data (but this shouldn’t really be the case each time I make changes??) - which seems to show updated changes as logged in user.
Clearing browser data in Firefox and chrome worked.
