The opacity slider isn’t showing up while I’m trying to change the color of a title. How do I get it to show up?

I see the new color picker, but no matter what I do (and I’ve tried on both Chrome & Edge), the color I select doesn’t apply. What am I doing wrong? I can’t find any other documentation about the new color picker on the Style tab.
