Mobile Version Has No CSS?

Hey Guys,

I’ve run into a problem on a new site I’m putting together.

Site looks great on Desktop:

And when you view mobile version on a desktop… it looks great:

But, when viewed on an actual iOS device… no styling:

Things I’ve tried so far:
-Cleared WPEngine Cache
-Cleared Browser cache on iOS
-Cleared Browser Cache on Desktop
-Cleared Page Builder Cache
-ReSaved theme settings

Any Ideas?

Hi Richard,

I am seeing the same error on your mobile phone screenshot when I view your site on my MacBook Pro. The issue is coming from the fact that you have a 404 on the skin.css file i.e. it doesn’t exist.

Have you recently moved site or changed server? Is it possible for you to provide temp admin access, please? So we can take a closer look.

Also, do we have permission to disable plugins if required?

Thanks,
Danny

Hi Richard,

Unfortunately, I am getting an “Invalid Username” notification when attempting to log into the site. Is it possible for you to double check the username again, please?

Never-mind, it appears to be working now.

Thanks,
Danny

Hey Danny,

I just tried to login with that username and password and it brought me right to the dashboard.

I doubled checked the username and password and they are both correct. That user has admin privelages on the site.

Richard

Hi Richard,

Yeah, I didn’t want to admit it, but I was actually using the email address, I didn’t see the username above (need coffee) :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, can you check on your phone again, as I published the changes and there doesn’t appear to be any issue now.

Thanks,
Danny

Hey Danny,

It is working now. What did you do differently than I did?

Richard

Hi Richard,

Honestly, all I did was click Done > Publish Changes. I did this as I noticed that before the builder was active the CSS wasn’t loading.

Out of curiosity, when did you notice this issue?

Thanks,
Danny

I built my the site the day before yesterday. Spent about 1/2 a day publishing and republishing and clearing caches trying to get the CSS to load.

Hi Richard,

I am at a loss as to what could have been the cause. If it happens again, can you post in this topic right away so we can look into more. I probably shouldn’t have clicked publish straight away, that way we may have been able to diagnose the issue.

Thanks,
Danny
