Module and cursor in different positions when module is dragged

Hello community!

It’s the first time I’ve been using Beaver Builder (and posting here) and in fact everything is working fine!

The only thing that bothers me a little is the fact that when I drag a module into the builder area, it looks like the mouse cursor and the module illustration are not in the same position. This detracts from usability a little.

Coincidentally or not, if we measure this distance, the result will be exactly the size of the website header (as you can see in the screen recording)

I would like to know if this is already a known issue and if there is any solution that I can apply.

I’m using:

  • Windows 10
  • Chrome 91.0.4472.114
  • WordPress 5.7.2
  • Twenty Twenty theme.
  • Beaver Builder Plugin (Lite Version) 2.4.2.2

I thank!

Hi there,

Glad to hear you are liking BB. I tested on a Mac and on Windows 10/Chrome to see if I could see the issue.

My understanding of the issue is that your mouse cursor and the little block there that says the module name are not lined up… is that accurate?

Yep

They are misaligned horizontally.
It seems to happen only with specific themes…

Sometimes, with an empty editor that doesn’t happen.
But just drag an element or create a line and further interactions with the element library will suffer
