Nav style in customizer seem to have no effect

Hi, I am wondering what the setting in Customizing->Header->Nav Style → Background Color is doing. I have the feeling that nothing is happening.
When I select a special color for background color it is not displayed anywhere.
Absolute no effect with this setting.

I tested this on three different sites.

Am I right or can anybody tell me what this setting does? Where is the selected color displayed?
Thanks

It sets the background colour for the header area, if its having no effect then maybe you have a Themer layout applied to that area?

But the background color for the header area is set in the section Customize->Header->Header Style. And even when I set this Header Style to standard or background opacity 0 the background color set in Nav Style is not displayed anywhere.
And I was thinking it should overwrite the Header Style…
The option “Preset” is set to default
The option “General background” is set to another color let’s say green.
Now the header area is green.
The option “Header Style->Background Color” is set to default and background opacity = 0
The header area is still green.
The option “Nav Style->Background Color” is set to red and the links are colored in blue and yellow (just for testing) but neither the color for the background color nor the colors for the navigation links nor the hover color change, no matter what I set.
I use the latest version of Beaver Theme and it’s child theme.

Something else might be overiding it, like a Themer header. Whats the link to the page where you are expecting the header to have a red background?

I was already thinking that there might be something else that is overiding it but couldn’t find anything.
I thought that in the the skin-87hdjez2987.css file which is generated by this settings I should find these colors, but no. In the skin.css the color set in “Nav Style” can not be found.

I do not use the Themer header. I use the header layout navigation right nothing else. No header.php oder includes are in the child theme.

The link to the page page is a staging area. But I could clone the one and give you access to the site.
