I need a column container that can be placed inside other columns. The placed column can then be set as 2,3,4 columns. I need this for layout purposes.
I need this desperately and am willing to pay for customisation.

Unfortunately, Beaver Builder doesn’t have this functionality. You could use an HTML module and some custom HTML/CSS to create this style layout, though. The down side to this is that any content inside the HTML module would need to hand-coded. You wouldn’t be able to use Beaver Builder modules.

You can specify percentage widths for columns. You can’t currently split columns. If you need more columns in a row, you can drag out another column group. Nested columns also currently aren’t possible. Sorry =(
