OptinMonster conflict with Beaver Builder Footer Code?

Hi-
We’re using Beaver Builder on our company website and we’ve enabled OptinMonster for posts in certain post-categories, and styled it as a slide-in, see here:
http://simplifilm.com/launch-videos/

However, when anyone clicks in the text fields to input info, it redirects to another page on our site (http://simplifilm.com/quote/) and no one can input text. The OptinMonster support noted that there’s something in the Beaver Builder theme somewhere that is causing all Footer content to be wrapped in hyperlinks going to the above page.

I can’t figure out where this is controlled or how to disable it so OptinMonster will work as a slide-in at the the bottom of the page. I’d prefer not to have to enable a Javascript solution or anything complex in our theme.

Can you help?
Thanks!

Hey Chris,

Thanks for getting in touch! I can see the entire markup for OptinMonster is preceded by an anchor tag to that quote page. In fact, the anchor tag is present even on the homepage, where the OM is not in effect. Check screenshot below.

We may need temp admin access to the site so we can check further. You can use the private reply option below.

Hey Chris,

Sorry but I can’t seem to find it in the template. Is the site live? Can we change themes, deactivate plugins and stuff?

Hey Chris,

No worries! Just really curious as to what’s causing this. It’s after the fl-page so basically after the BB theme and plugin. It also has another one after the footer! Something’s injecting those to the markup, it’s most likely a plugin but unless we can play around with it, it will be hard to figure out. Definitely let us know if you can find something and/or if you need anything further!
