Page Builder won't load in WP staging. Help ASAP.

I cannot get BB to load in my staging environment after the update today. I cleared caches, updated on the live and staging site and page builder/admin still will not load in staging. Loads fine on our live site.

I am supposed to present the updates to my CEO this afternoon and needed to make changes. I need help.

I did get the builder to load on one of the pages in staging. Just not the home page.

Is anyone else having this issue? I’m supposed to be in a meeting presenting the updates right now.

Hi Kristin,

We apologise for any stress this may be causing and rest assured we will get to the bottom of it for you. However, when I attempt to login using the credentials you have provided, I am unable to.

The login form is informing me the password is incorrect, I have tried both passwords.

Ok, I have just tried again and now logged into your site. I am currently investigating your issue.

Do yo have any issue with me disabling all active plugins?

Hi Kristin,

Your homepage isn’t loading the builder, but other pages are. For example,

As far as I can tell, the main difference between these pages is that you have used the RevSlider (Slider Revolution) plugin. Please, disable the RevSlider plugin and then try and load up the builder again. As, this may be the cause of the issue.

I did that. No dice. And I have the slider installed on other pages and it works fine.

Okay, I did it again and it worked. But I would like to use the revolution slider. Thoughts?

Hi Kristin,

How have you created the Slider? For example:

  1. Have you added custom HTML to your slides? As, this could be the problem especially if you have invalid HTML in the slide itself.
  2. How are you adding the Slider to your page?
  3. When you say you have it working on other pages where the builder is loading. Is the content in the slides different on those pages to that of the Homepage?
