Page with post module /slider/carousel gone bad after update

Hey guys!
My page with that contain post slider carousel has gone bad after this update. I’m not sure when exactly to be honest.
but I deactivated every plugin and left just BB and the page is missing almost all of the content

Hey Guerson,

I can see some jQuery errors on the page. Can you try and fix them and see if you get the same issue? I’ll post in a separate private reply a screenshot for reference. You can swap the $ character with jQuery to fix that issue. Let us know how it goes!

I tried replacing just the one $ character and it did not do the trick. do i have to replace all of them?

When i downgrade BB and BB plugin only through FTP. the page works fine if that tells you anything.

Hi Guerson,

When you say you downgraded, what version did you downgrade to?

Is it possible for you to update to the latest version, then disable all active plugins except for Beaver Builder and then see if the issue persists.

Also, we recommend you do not have cache plugins active whilst using Beaver Builder. You also have Autoptimize enabled. Like the cache plugin, I wouldn’t have this plugin active whilst working on your site.

Danny, the plugin disable route is the first thing I tried. The problem only persist if BB is on.
Like I said once i downgrade to 1.7.3 then the problem is gone. It is only in the last update i think. So right now I’m running 1.7.3 and the page look normal. To be clear, that problem was only with pages that had some type of slider/post module/carousel on it. I have two of those pages and both experienced the same problem while all other pages worked fine.

Do you think you can share FTP access to the site as well? I’d like to install 1.7.5 without removing 1.7.3 so we can check.

I believe your issue is caused by you using CloudFlare Rocketscript.

I think the best course of action is for you to disable this, run the update for BB and see if the issue persists.

Also, I noticed when viewing your site that you have two optimisation plugins and two cache plugins installed and activated. This probably isn’t a good idea and will most likely do the opposite and cause issues on your site.

I recommend you choose one of each plugin and and remove the others.

Thanks for the tip on the two optimization plugins…I was trying to figure out which one is best for the site.
But as far as Cloudflare goes, I don’t think that’s it. I had an issue with rocketloader before, so I did disable it, clear cach, refresh and nothing.
In fact, it’s working nice with the previous version(1.7.3). No break at all… I think it only break when using the builder on posts right now but not on pages, at least on my site. But you are right, b4 it use to break everything.
For now, I’m ok running, 1.7.3 let’s see if it just some weird quirq and maybe the next update somehow everything will go back to normal. If you recently made changes to the slider,carousel, or any of the builder elements on that page. It’s most likely it.

Hi Guerson,

So we can rule it out, can you completely disable the CloudFlare Rocketloader and then update to 1.7.5. Then see if your issue persists?
