Hi, How to i add a pagination using the beaver builder plugin? Is there a shortcode i can use for that? I’m using the X theme
Hi Ether,
Sorry to highjack the thread
What do you think of the X theme ?
I’ve been considering giving it a try…
TIA, Dave
Honestly, it’s my favorite theme. Absolutely beautiful theme, also comes with a drag and drop tool ( Conerstone) easy to use as well.
Give it a try.
Hey Esther,
Not really sure about the question. Where are you trying to use the pagination on? We have a pagination option for our Post Grid module. Other than that, pagination should be controlled by your theme. Or depending on your content. Could you share a bit more information as to where you’re trying to add pagination?
Ben
yes i want to add a pagination to my post
Hi Esther and Dave,
Sorry about also hijacking this thread, but I just had to pop in and mention a major ‘issue’ with the X Theme (and other themes/page builders that rely on shortcodes to achieve their functionality).
I just bought the X Theme and after ‘struggling’ to get the darn thing installed on my local site (I had to do so manually as it would not install via the Themes > Add New > Upload) and then to ‘activate’ it, I finally managed to import one of the demo sites so that I could test my ‘theory’.
I was correct. The site looked just like the demo … until I switched to the default WP Twenty Fifteen theme; nothing but shortcodes on the pages.
This, IMHO, is THE primary reason why there is nothing like Beaver Builder! Do the same with BB, and there is your content, less the layout formatting, but there is not a BB ‘shortcode’ in sight (site?
Cheers!
Lyle
Hi Esther,
As Ben mentioned, BB has the pagination option in the Posts Module. If you were to place a Posts Module on a page and adjust the module’s settings accordingly, the pagination would be displayed, given that there are enough posts available to warrant it. That is, if you only have 3 posts yet set it to display 5 per page, there will be no pagination presented.
Cheers!
Lyle
Hey Lyle,
Thanks for the valuable info - you saved me a few bucks and probably a few hours of my time
Cheers, Dave
Hey Esther,
Just to add to Lyle’s post above, if you’re using WP to display your posts, then that would be controlled by your theme. I would suggest using the Posts module to do so since you’ll have more flexibility. Let me know if you’ve questions about that.
Ben
