PHP namespaced widgets displays: no longer exists

It seems that beaver builder doesn’t seem to handle php namespaced widgets as in BaseNamespace\SubNameSpace\Widgets\MyWidget. When the page builder is active and such widget is loaded, it displays an error like BaseNamespace\SubNameSpace\Widgets\MyWidget no longer exists. (seems BB doesn’t strip the slashes when loading the widget). Any suggestion to fix this?

Any update about this?

Hey Johnny. Sorry you’re having trouble. We’re looking into this. I think we all thought that someone else was replying to this thread to let you know. Sorry about that. =O

We’ll update you here as soon as we have an answer.

Hey Johnny,

Can you let me know of a widget that uses namespaces so I can test this? Thanks!

Justin

Here’s a sample plugin that adds a widget with namespaces Sample Namespaced

Thanks, Johnny. The issue appears to be related to this one…

Even when striping the slashes I run into the above issue after saving. I’ve done some work to fix it, but since it deals with modifying how data is saved, I’m hesitant to push an update until I have time to dedicate my undivided attention to stringently testing it. I’ll try to do that within the next week or two to get this issue fixed for you.

Thanks,
Justin

Any update about this issue?

Hey Johnny,

My apologies for the delay. We have two releases going out this week (maintenance today, new features Sunday). Once those are out I’ll be working on this issue. I’ll shoot you a copy to test when I’m ready.

Thanks,
Justin

Hey Johnny,

I just tried to send you an email with a beta to test but it bounced back. Can you get in touch with me at justin [at] fastlinemedia [dot] com?

Thanks!
Justin
