Plugin behaving erratically and not updating

Hi,

I’m using BB Theme and plugin on a development site and having real issues with making any change to the content using Pagebuilder. When I make the changes they revert back to what was there before making it impossible to know what new content has been added. Consequently I keep loosing uploaded information. Can you help please! Hey, Debbie – I’m not an employee, but do you have any caching on the server (varnish, by chance?)

I had this issue working on a client’s host that I didn’t configure, and it was driving me mad.

Have just checked the site Cpanel and it does appear to have Unixy Varnish - although don’t seem to be able to disable it… Did you have to disable it in order for it to work?

We recommend turning off any caching stuff while actively working on the site. You can enable them though once you’re done and just clear the cache for when you make minor edits. Re Varnish, I’d suggest getting in touch with your hosting company.

Yeah - you can disable it while configuring by going to:
Hosting > Performance > Varnish, and click “Stop”

You can also flush cache on a per-domain basis from here as well when making changes after launch.

Well I’ve done all those things and changes are still not updating. Any other ideas?

I suddenly starting have same problems as you, I had already asked my Host to disable Varnish caching and had attempted the same via .htaccess directives but to no avail. Then I read your post about the Unixy Varnish CPanel control and found that I had the same and that it had a simple disable/enable toggle which instantly did the trick. Are you sure you don’t have the same functionality?

I asked Alan the same in his topic regarding a similar issue. Would it be possible for you to contact your host and ask what version of Varnish you have installed, please?
