Plugin installation problem

I just bought BB this morning.
I use Wamp server, when i try to install the plugin, the installation stop and ask me to reinstall it again.
I downloaded the file in my account page.

Thanks

Normand

try installing it through the http folder instead of through wordpress

Hey Normand,

Welcome to BB forums! Sorry to hear about the problem. Could you probably perform a manual installation by copying the BB plugin into the WordPress plugin folder then activate it in your backend? Let us know how it goes.

Thanks!

KC

Hi have just upgraded from lite version.
Can’t find where to put the key in - when I go to settings - upgrade, just takes me back to your page.
When I downloaded the plugin from the purchase and tried to install that way received an error message:
The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.
Please help! as I’m really keen to use this

Hey Claire,

We have a resolved thread here that has similar installation issues like you.

Regarding the license key, you have to install BB plugin successfully before you are able to insert it. It should be here at Settings > Page Builder > License. Refer to the attached image below. Let us know if it works.

Thanks!

KC

Hi KC
for some reason?? I do not have the license option. Everything else but.
Claire

Hey Claire,

This sounds familiar and I believe it has something to do with the Beaver Builder caching. Go over to settings > page builder > cache and clear it. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks!

KC

Thank you for your response have cleared cache and still same error when trying to install updated version. Then installed light version and cleared cache with stil no licensce option.

Hey Claire,

Hey Claire,

You just did it  but you did not insert your WordPress login credentials. Please don’t forget to tell us your Website URL too.

Hi Claire and KC,

When one is upgrading from the lite version to one of the paid versions, you have to deactivate and delete (uninstall) the lite version first. Do that, and then you should be able to install the downloaded paid version as usual

Cheers!
Lyle

Hey Claire,

Could you please try what Lyle has suggested? Just keep the BB plugin pro version and remove the lite version. I can’t seem to log in to your Website to the check your backend, the username/password seems wrong.

Thanks!

KC

Hey Claire,

I’ve just checked your backend and it seems that you’ve installed the BB Plugin lite version. Please download the latest Beaver Builder plugin zip from the My Account page. We have a KB article here that could guide you through the upgrading process. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!

Hey Claire,

Sorry, maybe you have missed the link back there. I was referring to this thread earlier. You could try asking your Hosting provider to increase the upload_max_filesize directive to about 8MB. Or you could try a quick solution by performing a manual plugin installation by following this guide. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks!
