Plugin Text Editor Content Doesn't work with Mac Trackpad

Hi,

Brand new customer, creating my first page. I’ve watched most of the tutorials to get started.

I crated a row, added a text editor content.

It seems that I can’t resize the text editor box?

It also seems that I can’t scroll using my trackpad? Is this expected behavior? The only way to move up and down inside the content (consistently, sometimes the trackpad seems to work in one direction) is to up- or down-arrow. Which is ridiculous if I have paragraphs of content.

Welcome to the BB forums! :slight_smile:

You can’t resize the Text Editor module for now. There have been a few features requests for this so you can vote for them on our User Voice Forums.

Are you testing the scroll function on an empty Text Editor module? Could you try pasting a few paragraphs to it and see if the scrolling works? Also, could you try it on the native WP editor and see if it works there as well?

There was text in the field. That was the problem.

I’ve never had trouble in the native editor but I’ll try again.

Hey David,

I was thinking you were testing it on a Text Editor with only a few lines of texts or blank. If there isn’t enough text in the editor, you won’t be able to scroll it. :slight_smile:
