Portfolio page question

When I was looking at the Beaver Builder demo (before purchase), I thought the Portfolio Page template would allow you to build a portfolio page that includes several entries. Meaning the images below the top “Our Latest Project” would appear in that place when clicked.

After experimenting with this, it appears that you can only add one top project and would then need to create separate pages for each of your projects and link those bottom images to respective pages.

Is that right? If so, not the way I want to build my new portfolio. Meaning, creating individual project pages with beaver builder for each portfolio item and then having to add project images below and link them for every project page.

I hope I’m missing something but that seems to be way this would work.

Can you let me know?

Thanks.

Hi Kelli,

Thanks for getting in touch! So, in terms of a Portfolio page, the options are really endless in terms of creating a layout you like. Personally and what we are planning on doing with our Agency website redesign, use of the posts module and targeting specific portfolio categories in it to pull posts that can be designed for each project. I love the rollover gallery layout available in the posts module and using posts for portfolio showcases works great. Of course, there are certainly other ways of accomplishing what you need, but BB is really flexible in that regard. Hope that helps!

Best,
Billy

Okay, so I am clearly missing some of these cool BB features. Didn’t even know about the Posts module. Is there more documentation so that I know what I can do?

I’m searching for Posts module and not finding it anywhere in the documentation. Can you help me find info on the posts module?

Haha, there are certainly some hidden gems!

We unfortunately don’t have detailed documentation on all of our modules yet, but that is certainly in the works in the way of videos. For now, I would suggest giving it a shot directly in a page. Go ahead and setup your categories beforehand and then drop in that module, configure a few options in the module settings and you should be good to go! Let me know how that goes!

Best,
Billy
