post grid/list pagination error - infinite scroll

Hi there,

I am starting fresh on a project and noticed something odd.

Regarless if I choose post grid or list and any one of the pagination types an issue arise.

with scoll it just keeps repeating the posts in a loop and with numbers it actually never change.

Hi Johan,

Your .htaccess file isn’t writable, which is likely causing the issue. I recommend you contact your web host provider and ask them to resolve the problem.

Once it is writable, the issue should be resolved.

Computer said no, and even if ownership and permissions are now set correctly, this scroll of infinite is still occuring. I tried disabling BB and reenabling it.

Hey Johan,

This is actually a problem with core, and this only happens when you place a Posts module on your frontpage, or when you set your frontpage to display the latest Posts. I tried duplicating your frontpage and the problem doesn’t happen on the duplicated page. Check the link below for more info.

I did skim through the ticket and it seems this should have been fixed by 4.4.2 but another minor issue arose. Can you try updating to the latest version of WP and see if that fixes it?
