Post module not showing posts

Hi

I am trying to use the posts module to create a feed of my ‘news’ posts. I have published an article in the news category and then in the module typed news in the category filter, however each time i try this i get ‘no posts’. If I dont use any filter all my posts show - but I only want ‘news’ to show.

Hey Jo,

I am seeing a Javascript error which most likely means BB is running into a conflict with another plugin installed. Can we have you go through the plugin deactivation route and then test BB on that page to pull the correct category? If it works as it should, go ahead and start re-enabling each while testing to see if you can pinpoint which causes the conflict. Let me know what you find!

Hi Billy

Its the Hero Slider causing the problem. I thought from their site they played nicely with BB - obviously not.

Interesting, I thought it did too and this is the first I’ve heard of a conflict. I’m not familiar with Hero Slider, but perhaps it could be how the theme implements it or are you inserting it using a shortcode in a BB HTML module?

I inserted it using the shortcake using one of your modules - could that be it? I have put a ticket in with Hero Slider but they are not as speedy as you guys at replying!

Hmm, it should work then. Are you making sure to insert it into an HTML module?

Yes its in the HTML module. I have decided to use your own slider which does allow me to filter the posts. I have played with it a bit and it looks like all will be okay.
