Posts loose format in the blog feed page

Hello
I’m having an issue with the blog feed. I’ve created a blog post using BB as it needed some special features that a default WP post could not provide me.
The problem comes when I create a page with blog template which is supposed to show all posts one after the other, because entire format is missed.
This is the original post http://www.nuevoakelarreliterario.com/el-jardin-de-las-delicias/
And this is what happens when I create the page using blog template to include all posts: http://www.nuevoakelarreliterario.com/relatos/
I’m using Agency Pro theme from Genesis.
Any clue on how to fix it?
Thanks a lot for your help.

Hey Natalia,

Just letting you know that we’re checking this one out.

Ben

Ok, thanks!
Let me know should you need access to the site to check the templates or anything else.
Regards

Hey Natalia,

Just wondering if you really need all the contents of the Posts shown? Or you’re just using it that way since that’s what your theme offers?

Ben

Hi Ben
If I understood correctly, you mean if I would prefer to show just the exercept.
Actually, yes, but we only have one post and there will be one a month. So next month I would like to show a list instead of the entire content.
Thx
Natalia

Hey Natalia,

Gotcha. For your case right now, we can load the assets of that Post globally so the styling gets applied. This can be done using the fl_builder_global_posts filter. More info on the link below.

Let us know if you need help with that.

Ben

Hi
Where am I suppose to add that function? In the functions.php or in the blog template php?
Thx
Natalia

Hey Natalia,

It goes to the functions.php file.

Ben

It worked!!
Thanks a lot for your help
Best regards

Awesome! Enjoy BB!

Ben

Hello,
sorry to reopen this thread, but I need help again.
The filter worked for the first post but it does not when it comes to the second post. I assume that I need to add the new post to the filter. I think of two solutions:

  1. add post numbers as they are published.
  2. create a filter to include all posts, present and those to come in the next months

In both cases, how should I write it??
Thanks!!

Hey Natalia,

I just checked the pages again and it seems you’re now using the excerpt for the blog posts list page? Do you still want to load the styling for each post? This isn’t really a good idea and it add more resources to be loaded, but in case you still want to do this, you can check out Justin’s reply on the thread below.

Hello Ben
yes, you’re right. I decided to change the way of getting a summary of all posts just by using the specific module the plugin has. And instead of using the blog type of page I used the default one.
Thanks for your help.
Best regards

Hey Natalia,

That’s awesome! Enjoy!
