Problem with Contact Form

Hello, I am using the contact form on my website and when I click send it says message failed to send, but it does send a messsage to the [email protected]. Why would it give me that error?

Hi Chris,

Can you update to the latest version and see if this resolves your issue, please. As it looks like you’re using 1.6.4.7 on the site you linked.

Would it be fine if we’re to fill up the form for testing? Also, do you think you can share temp admin access to the site so we can check the form’s settings?

Hey Chris,

I just tried the same thing on my end but I can’t replicate the issue. Would it be possible for you to deactivate plugins? If it isn’t, can you get a copy of the site on a staging URL so we can play around with it? Or maybe try deactivating just the Fotoplugins plugin first and see if it makes any changes?

I want to be sure i understand. Are you saying you filled out the form and got a message sent successfully text on the page?

also when a tech from pair.com where we are hosting this looked at the code on the page, they said the code goes directly to fail. Not sure if that is true but wanted you to know what I was told. Also the emails are all coming through. they are just showing as a fail on the page.

I also disabled Fotoplugins and it made no difference

Hey Chris,

That’s what happened on my localhost using BB plugin 1.7.3. I filled out the form, and after hitting the Send button, I got the confirmation message which I set on the module. Can you go ahead and reinstall the plugin? Also, can you try deactivating all other plugins except BB and see if you get the same thing?

It turns out that it was an interim release of Duplicator Pro. I installed the latest version and the problem was resolved.
