Hallo after using the the page builder plugin over a page and switching back to “Edit Page” I receive the following advise:
“Switching to Text Editor mode will disable your Page Builder layout until it is enabled again. Any edits made while in Text Editor mode will not be made on your Page Builder layout. Do you want to continue?”
Indeed every change I will made over the Text Editor will be lost when I will reopen the Page Builder.
Not only, when I switch back to the text editor, the page is loosing its functionalities, showing only the images and text formatted accordingly to the theme, not to the page settings.
That is correct and the way it works. You’ll want to either stick with using the editor for pages/posts or using the page builder for pages/posts in terms of content layout. When you switch back to the text editor, it will revert all content into the WordPress’ standard single column format.
I understand. So I guess my best solution will be to upload content from posts into pages, leaving me free to use the text editor on posts and bb on the page structure.
seems to work just fine, as I see you can load the entire document not just excerpts.
But to avoid a 1 on 1 duplication of posts-pages, what the best way to load all the posts from a category into a single page (using a next-prev as well as a menu to navigate them).
Cool, you could probably use the posts module actually. I think that would be the most elegant way of quickly getting a posts feed in a page. We have the 3 different styles in the posts module and you can filter by category. We don’t quite have a way to do the menu in a page yet, but do have a menu module we are working on currently. It’s far from being ready to be released to the public, but we hope to have it ready very soon which would of course help in this situation. Perhaps, a sidebar to include a menu?
you mean a widgetized menu? I need it horizontally and sticky but I guess this is not a problem.
in that case I have to manually build a 1 to 1 posts-page? or is it possible to build a template for every posts’s category?
Using our Posts module, you can filter out which category you want to output. So you can create different pages for your different categories. Let us know if you need anything further.
