Revolution Slider incompatability issues

It worked for a while, maybe an hour and then caused my screen to blank out…go white.

I deactivate Rev Slider and BB works again, I tried deactivating other plugins too but seems it is Rev Slider causing the issue.

I can add a slider via my framework (Ultimatum) but then clicking on BB on the front end causes all content to white out.

Could be worth mentioning, it happened when I tried to change my images in slider with images of a different dimension.

BB is upto date and I am using version 5.1.4 of Rev Slider.

Can you try using the Rev Slider shortcode instead and see if that works?

Hi Ben,

The problem is I cannot use BB while Rev Slider is activated, as soon as I click on BB in the top bar, all I get is a white page…including the WP toolbar and so cannot add anything.

If I disable Rev Slider I can use BB.

Hey Paul,

Are you getting any errors that you can share by chance? Also, it sounds like something else may be conflicting as we don’t currently have any bugs reported with Rev Slider and BB. Could I have you try disabling all of your other plugins and giving it a shot? Let me know what you find and we’ll go from there!

Everything de-activated and deleted most but still the same.

Soon as I deactivate Rev Slider, BB works fine.

Ok, I have everything working.

It seems my child theme somehow was corrupted. I have created a new child theme and started fresh and now all seems well!
