Hey Oliver,
It’s even quite possible that one of WP’s assets was what failed to load causing BB to stop working. The BB requires a few JS/CSS scripts before it works and even failing to load just one of those would render it useless. I’ll have someone else answer you regarding WP’s saving to browser feature.

This is interesting and I’m unsure as to how we troubleshoot further. 
BB does autosave similarly to the editor and it seems that isn’t working for you, correct?

Troubleshoot by building a very large page, add all modules with every single animation… Place content in 4 sections within the page with three different separators between the content sections… Add images to the content and on the side bars add menus, and most sidebar modules… Build the page on local environment then upload to live on server… Make it completely massive, then break it down from there on all issues… Why doesn’t the BB plugin save pages at this level, Is it multisite?, is it just one module, the menus, a memory issue, cache problem??? what is it??? Because it’s definitely an issue with the plugin… Hope to see a fix soon…
