That was interesting. I couldn’t get BB to work on a site.
I deactivated a few plugins one at a time.
The one that caused the problem was Schema Creator by Raven.

I hope that’s interesting/helpful.
Any idea what the problem was with that?

I got the same thing on my local install. I’ll submit a bug report for this.

Edit: Sorry, forgot to tell you something. This plugin adds an icon to the rich text editor. Unfortunately, the rich text editor inside BB doesn’t support 3rd party additions. It was still reported as a bug so our lead dev can look into the error that causes the BB to stop working.

Hi Neil,

I tested this plugin and it doesn’t look like it’s going to be compatible with a front-end editor. There are a few reasons why…

  1. It makes use of the get_current_screen function which is only available in the admin. Since that’s not available on the front-end, it’s throwing a PHP error which is breaking the builder.

  2. It only loads its scripts in the admin. Even if we added front-end compatibility for get_current_screen the plugin still wouldn’t work as the necessary JS isn’t available on the front-end.

Sorry I don’t have a better answer for you! The developer of this plugin knows his stuff, so it’s possible that if you post a support request, he may consider it.
