Scroller template not responsive

Hello all,

I have just changed the homepage of my website http://skibumnorway.com/ to utilise the scroller template.

It looks awesome on my desktop but when I try to view it on my iPhone6, I have a problem.

In portrait, the homepage is confined to around 60% of the total width of the screen.

In landscape, the homepage is confined to around 90% of the total width.

No other pages have this issue.

Any ideas of what I might have done wrong or solutions?

Any help is much appreciated, thank you.

Hi Douglas,

I have just reviewed your site using both BrowserStack and the emulator in Google Chrome and your site appears full-width. Is the issue now resolved?

Thanks,

Hi Danny,

No I haven’t figured anything out and the problem still exists.

Kind Regards,

Douglas

Hey Douglas,

This is caused by the social media icons you have on the footer. It has an inline style of 600px width, even on mobile. What widget are you using for this? Is it responsive?

Ben

Hi Ben,

That is exactly it.

I am using ultimate social media plus, maybe it is not that responsive.

I have made the icons smaller and it seems to have done the trick.

Thank you very much for your help.

Kindest Regards,

Douglas

No worries at all, Douglas!

Since you’re placing it on a module, you could try creating 2 versions of it. One for large devices, where the icons are bigger, then the other for mobile devices, smaller icons. You can then configure it so the first one only appears on large devices under Advanced > Responsive layout.
