Site column margins disappearing on mobile

Hi guys,
I have a website (i’ll add a private reply later) which for some reason is losing the margin settings when on mobile devices.

It’s saying there is CSS being applied in the cache, but I have cleared the cache and checked for any leftover CSS from elsewhere and I cant find anything so I’m stumped.

If you could have a look for me that’d be great

Cheers,

Jay

Hey Jay,

I believe you have Auto Spacing enabled under Tools > Global Settings. What this does is it resets the left/right padding for rows and columns and all margins for rows, columns, and modules to the values set in the global settings when on mobile. You can change the default values on the Global Settings to add a bit of margin to the rows.

Let us know how it goes!

Hi Ben,

Yes indeed the autospacing was the culprit.

I had to control my margins & padding via css.

Maybe I could suggest this as a sore point - the ‘autospacing’ shouldn’t apply it with !important if possible. Perhaps there needs to be better responsive settings. I’m sure that’s already in uservoice though

Cheers again,

Jay

Hey Jay,

It is, indeed, already requested on our User Voice. If you’ve a minute, feel free to vote for it on the link below.
