Help! My site http://dawnsullypile.com/ is all of a sudden broken. The header shows weird code on the top left and my CSS font in the middle section is all wonky. So are the headers on most pages.
Customizer shows there is no file for the logo but obviously there is.
I have created a login for you. Will private message you with that.
You may want to take a look over your custom CSS to make sure everything is in order there. A good test is to cut/copy it all out in the customizer to see what changes on the frontend in live preview via the customizer. If your CSS doesn’t appear to be issue after doing that, it is entirely possible a plugin is conflicting with BB. The next steps from there would be to disable all plugins with the exception of BB to see if that solves things. If it does, go ahead and start re-enabling each while testing to see if you can find the culprit and let us know what you find. I can tell you that that choose file item in the top left is being generated by Bloom by inspecting it. Perhaps, there is something not configured correctly in it’s settings there.
Yes, looks to be the same issue as before. Do you have a developer that is working on this site? I ask because it looks like some of the child theme files have been modified and that is why that form is in the header. If you do, I would suggest checking in with them as other than that, the site seems to be working as it should from a BB perspective.
I am not working with a developer and I never changed any of those child theme files. I don’t write php and couldn’t make those changes even if I wanted to. How in the world would those files get added and changed?
I’m just going to reload a new child theme and add my css back in.
thanks for finding the problem. I never would have looked at the theme files.
Yes, weird indeed! There really isn’t any way for those files to get changed without someone getting in there and doing so so it’s a mystery on this end as well!
