Slider: Colour of text

Hi, total newbee, just bought this today.

Im trying to adjust the slider text colour to match a colour in my background image. I’d like to use a hex colour (#522F17). Is there somewhere where I can enter this (type it in). It’s very trial and error with the colour picker.

If I have to use CSS, what’s the class I need to adjust?

Many thanks,

John

Hi John,

Welcome to the BB forums!

So we can assist you further, can you tell us which slider you’re referring to, please?

Thanks,
Danny

Hi Danny, thanks for the reply.

I just used the homepage template (sell I think it’s called) so it’s the slider at the top of that template. The one that comes packaged with the BB plugin.

Hope that helps.

John

Hi John,

If you want to apply a custom color to the text of a slider, you will want to do the following:

  1. Open the Slider Settings by clicking the Wrench icon.
  2. Then click on the Slide tab.
  3. Now edit the slider you want to apply the color to by clicking Edit slide.
  4. In the Style tab, scroll down until you see the option called Text Color
  5. Click the option to bring up a color picker.
  6. At the top of the color picker you should see an input field where you can input a custom color code. Add your color code there.

Cloudup

Save the changes and the text on the slider should now be the color you added.

Thanks,
Danny

Ahhh! Missed that! Thanks Danny

No problem, John. Happy to help and thanks for informing us the issue has been resolved. We appreciate it.

Thanks,
Danny
