slider image background image mobile issue

Hello,

I am having issues with my content sliders in a tablet portrait view. It takes the image and shrinks it down and pushes it to the left. On other devices it looks good. Below is a link to the screenshot

Now if I test it in a browser responsive testing extension tool, it looks good and the image expands the whole width of the screen, but viewing it on an actual ipad in portrait layout it does what you see in the screenshot. I have had this same issue with other sites as well.

Hi Travis,

Unfortunately, I don’t have access to my iPad at the moment and BrowserStack is taking forever to load. Therefore, whist I am waiting for BrowserStack what iPad are you using?

Also, what version of iOs?

Hey Travis,

I think that model comes with Retina Display, and that may be the reason why the image shrunk. Can you try installing the plugin WP Retina 2x and see if that fixes it? What it does is it makes the images retinal capable. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes!
