Slider Page Published - HTTP 404 not Found!!

For my first page, which has now crashed and is unrecoverable I did the following.

  1. I inserted a new page with a blank template
  2. I added a slider to the central area, and added 5 slides to it. (Everything looks great)
  3. I click publish
I get HTTP 404 Not Found

None of the previous revisions will publish either.
If I build it again from scratch, the same thing happens.
WHAT IS GOING ON???

Hey Melissa,

This might be an issue with your permalinks. Can you set it to Postname under Settings > Permalinks and see if you get the same thing? If so, can you share temp admin access to your site so we can check? You can post the details here using the private reply option below.

Hey Melissa,

You can just use a dummy email for that.

Hey Melissa,

I think that’s possible, but not with BB out of the box. You’ll probably need to use 3rd party plugins for the login box and to restrict content.

Also, you forgot the URL of your site.

Hello?
Help?

Problem solved. OMG.
My server hosting provider had the wpsite permissions wrong.

I am posting this so that you will know, and that anyone looking will know as well.
The tipoff was that ANY publish of anything at all caused the problem.
It was not Beaver Builder at all.

Hey Melissa,

Sorry about the delay, support has been crazy lately! Glad you got it working though, and thanks for taking the time to inform us. Have fun!
