Slow site

Hi im experiencing that my site is slow and im wondering what could be the problem? Is it something in the plugin or is it something on my end perhaps?

Hey Mattias1212,

Thanks for getting in touch! We usually try to keep things simple and lightweight as you might have noticed. Having a slow site could be caused by a lot of things, it could be a bad hosting provider, the number of plugins being used on the site, the number of operations the server has to do before loading the page and etc.

There are lot of page speed testing services out there. I, personally, used GT Metrix before. It gives recommendations on what needs to be done to improve the results. I don’t know how reliable that one is so I would suggest using several page speed testing services.

You can also use caching plugins like WP Rocket to improve the performance of the site.
