Smooth Scrolling Links NOT Smooth?

Hi

I recently set up smooth scrolling links on my site as per your documentation. sorry I can’t provide a website url at this time.

When I click the menu links they jump to the correct place, however, the link transition is not very smooth, like in other websites I’ve seen. Any way to fix the scrolling transition of the links?

Using beaver builder theme and pro plugin. Only plugin activated is JetPack. So I don’t think it’s a plugin conflicts.

Please advise.
