Hi
I’m a bit confused here. I am trying to add some contents to a tab module, but it won’t work.
The weird thing is that the exact same contents HAVE worked, just on another site (with the same theme).
This special content is in an iframe:
<iframe src=“http://www.rentalcars.com/etc…” width=“80%” height=“350” frameborder=“0” scrolling=“no”>Search for Car Rental</iframe>
I have switched to a default theme (TwentyFifteen) without that making any difference.
(I have also tried embedding the source using the [embed] shortcode supposed to work natively with wordpress.)
The question is: How can I make iframe work also on the other site?
Or: Is there some other (slightly similar) module that is more likely to work?
Or: Is there some other way to embed that external content in a tab?
What happens?
When I’ve inserted the code and click Save, either the tab module itself or the page hangs: The narrow horisontal progress bar just runs and runs, and the only solution is to close the browser window (and loose all changes).
Trying just with text, the tabs work normally.
Tabs with iframe work here: www.in2it.no/demo5/gardasjoen-via-ferrata-x2/#komme-hit
…but won’t work at the bottom here: http://www.dolcevita.no/ny2/vasto/ (wp embed test in the very lower tab module - see “embed”)
Yes: Embedding works in the html module, but… well, I’d like it to work in the tabs as it does on the first site :-/
…and I should add that also other modules hang on save. Sometimes it works, sometimes not - it’s about 50/50, which for now makes work pretty frustrating.
Now - this MIGHT have to do with the cdn service I’ve been using (Incapsula), because lately occasionally I’ve got the attached message when trying to open a post for editing. I’ll definitely ask Incapsula about this as well.

Thanks for posting! I tried adding the iframe and I’m getting a 404 error. Could you try the plugin deactivation route, i.e., disable all plugins and test the Beaver Builder while reactivating each to determine if the issue is related to a 3rd party plugin. Let us know how it goes!
I’ve deactivated all plugins (but the BB), reloaded a page in PageBuilder and tried to add a tab with an iframe in. It hangs, though I don’t get any 404. (Maybe you got that because the iframe code i included had an incomplete url…? No?)
Kept all those plugins inactive and switched theme from Bridge to 20-15. Reloaded page in PageBuilder and tried to add a tab with an iframe in. Hangs.
(Between here I get two times the error page I posted above, and also one in place for the map (not a Map module) in the middle of the page - like this: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1935377/error-midpage.png )
(Each time, by the way, even after realoading the page without a successful save or publish, something remains: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1935377/tab-remains.png )
Kept all above, reloaded page in PageBuilder and tried to add an iframe in a Text editor: The iframe content appears and the edit box closes as it should, but page hangs on Publish.
Tried same with html module - and if I just skip any text outside the iframe iself, everything works…
But - as I understood you, iframes should work even as part of contents inside a tab…?
Thanks,
Kjetil
Then it probably has something to do with your CDN service. Every time I refresh the page when it halts, I get the Incapsula error code 20. The iframe I tried was one from youtube. See if turning it off fixes your issue.
