Can anyone explain why the content in the first column of a post module is not outputting <br> or <p> tags? It’s not the content itself, it outputs fine as a single post. In fact, if I change the order of the posts, it’s always happening to the one in the first column.

Unfortunately, this is a known bug and is scheduled to be fix in 2.2.4 (this may change). In the meantime, if you switch to using the Classic Editor it should resolve the issue. 
Thanks for verifying it’s a bug. Do you mean the Classic Editor plugin? I am already using that.
We’re only able to recreate this using the Classic Block editor or Gutenberg, but not the classic editor plugin. Can you send us a ticket so we can take a closer look.
